If you’re familiar with the Londa Tarot – a favorite deck of gothic pagans – this is the site where you can buy prints for the Distant Sun and Alchemist decks, the former a modern and abstract take on classic tarot imagery, the latter bearing the familiar pointed-face style of the original deck. The artist has also designed costumes for metal bands and is available for a wide range of artistic projects, from sculpture to web design.

Creepy little dolls with lots of bleeding porcelain. Victorian girlies with cracked faces, shadow-eyed zombies and ghouls, bunnies, vampires, and a section for Siamese twins. Every doll is made one of a kind, and custom is welcome.

Fierce Couture is a new clothing line that combines old-world designs with industrial chic. Regular readers of this column know of our ongoing love affair with antique designs done over in modern elements, and here’s the latest find: the Wing Skirt, which may be one of the most elegant bondage skirts ever. A pair of bondage clips hold the train off the floor in a lovely swash of gathered fabric. Better yet, no two are alike since the fabric is hand printed by video artist Scott Pagano.

Colorful bags and wallets done up in birdies, raindrops, goldfish, flowers, and other cute designs. This is also a good place to pick up a record bag if you’ve ever wanted a purse with a 45 in the flap.

High-end, original clubwear, excellent if you like your bustle skirts made with clips and buckles and ripstop nylon. A good fusion of the old-world and the modern with body-hugging cuts and corset lacing everywhere. There’s also a section of latex gowns, which are all made to order.

October Effigies is KerryKate Patterson’s dollhouse of morbid curiosa and lost souls, with a distinctly flapper-era sensibility present in her troubled glamorous faces. Among the gallery of strange personae is Jane-Roy, a union of the masculine and feminine in one body. Seemingly opposing images are set side-by-side: a rouged cheek offsets a twirled mustache, a clingy pink gown contrasts against a buttoned jacket. But a lock and key finish off the visual analogy of fitting together.
