This San Francisco fetish shop specializes in toys that are as high-end as they are hardcore. Along with the standard bondage fare of gags and restraints, they also craft more exotic items for suspension, electrical, and chastity play, including irons, sleepsacks, straitjackets, and a line of goods made from Darlex. This is also an excellent place for men to find top-shelf leatherwear and stompy boots, too. (Ladies, the latex dresses and Catherine Coatney can be found literally across the street at Madame S.)

Since 1954, this family owned and operated company has been creating their own stockings, integrating seamless styles and pantyhose into their catalog but refusing to drop the classic designs. Vintage lingerie enthusiasts will love them for this: “Our 3975 style is the only fully fashioned nylon stocking to have carried on, virtually unchanged, for over 45 years in continuous production!” They also do full-cut panties and body stockings are also for sale.

Jam-band festival wear: comfy, colorful clothes with an Indian flavor, with some patchwork and embroidery here and there, and items for kids, too. Also psychedelic stickers, patches, and tapestries, a little jewelry, incense and oils, toys, and a decent selection of hemp products. Of note is the Bags and Wallets page, with lots of funky vintage-style purses.

Original Victorian-gothic jewelry made from decadent venice lace and draping chains. Bat hairsticks, elegant earrings, and headpieces made from Swarovski crystals, but the main draw are the chokers – dark and dramatic and loaded with wonderful dark findings.

Ever wanted a portrait of Farah Fawcett crafted from tinfoil boxes, Skyy Vodka bottles, and toothpaste tubes? Jason Mecier plays with the whole rearranged-context aesthetic by basing his art on the clever arrangement of household objects – which bear no relation to each other other than the same color – into spookily recognizeable celebrity art. Don’t miss the acid-green Linda Blair, who is rendered in Wrigley’s gum, OFF! bug spray, and an Apple Jacks box.
