Tatty Devine rollercoaster necklaceCampy, colorful jewelry where 80’s charms are infused with a healthy shot of old-world showbiz. Hearts, lipstick kisses, guns, and disco balls are joined by 3-D glasses, pianos, boxes of popcorn, even a dove flying from a magician’s gloved hands. Plenty of weird whims done up in mirror shine, handpainted plastics, and other loud materials.

Fantasy Dolls by Donna fairy dollGorgeous doll repaints where the archetypes of fairies, mermaids, warriors, and medieval queens are joined by urban tribal bellydancers, right down to the tiny tattoos – and the artist, a former dancer herself, invites you to have a doppelganger made of your performance persona. Yet another doll site where the fashion is to die for, particularly in the goth section.

Natasha NYC

Natasha NYC slashed punk dressExtreme glam from a designer who got started dressing Manhattan’s underworld in the late seventies. The clothes are unabashedly, gloriously trashy with rips and slashes, cutouts, zippers, and neon animal prints. And the purple tiger print dresses, side-laced leggings, and mesh bustiers are definitely not “retro-inspired,” either – some of these are the very same bestsellers of thirty years ago. This totally brings back memories of what the underground boutiques were carrying in the 80’s, fabulous for those who crave a more femme take on punk fashion.
