Antiwar, socially conscious t-shirts loaded with subversive pop art: the “bring us your poor” American border drawn with barbed wire, Bush casting a Darth Vader shadow, a band of Native Americans in ceremonial dress with “INSURGENTS” printed beneath, a dagger thrown through the heart of the Monopoly Man. The messages range from feminism and racism to workers’ rights and environmental destruction with plenty of governmental nose-thumbing in between, and everything’s American-made and sweatshop-free.
