Anatomical studies, otherworldly corpses, and all kinds of bizarre discoveries are enshrined within thrillingly detailed assemblages – expedition cases, death coffers, research reliquaries brimming with potions, tools, paperwork, loads of mad scientist effluvia for the proper presentation of a severed head. The various inventions down towards the bottom of the page bring the fabulously old-world devices of comic books into real life, and the illustrative work includes a dark Alice in Wonderland series.
