Remember when Ebay used to be fun? Years ago, this dress popped up on my goth-opulence-on-the-cheap radar and despite my ruddy complexion making it not advisable to wear a lot of red, I couldn’t resist throwing in a bid. All that ruching! And it laces up in the back, too. Not only did I end up winning it, but I couldn’t bring myself to put it up for sale when I finally scored one in black. I’d only be able to do that if I got it in purple, which I doubt Betsey did. Which is too bad, for me that would be the Ultimate Goth Gown Of Them All. (I loooooove purple.)
