Brocade is one of those fabrics that tends to get doled out only for the poshest of getups. It’s a trusted ingredient in corsetry of the opera-box flavor, often whittled down to fancy chokers for the aristocratic airs to be savored in smaller bites (and softer whallops to the pocketbook.) It’s rare to see it surface on footwear within an affordable price point, even more rare to behold it within the realm of an alt brand.
