A pagan smorgasboard of gothic altar tools, beautifully designed with lots of vibrant twists on the traditional gear: witchboards and planchettes, pendulums and boards, pentacles, amulets, journals, dolls and masks, erotic sculpture and surreal artwork, hats and scarves, goblets, books, and miscellaneous housewares. Run by New Orleans artist Leilah Wendell, The Azrael Project has been around since 1979 and is a gallery devoted to the Angel of Death. This site features a wealth of information and imagery, with stunning original art for sale and a catalog of gracefully macabre offerings: Santisima Muerte statues, prayer boxes, graveyard-inspired decor, memento mori cameo necklaces and other Victorian mourning jewelry, collage cards, handcrafted Grim Reaper lamps, and of course, Leilah’s unique writings on the subject.
Dark pagan everything: Housewares, accessories, bath salts, books, candles, gemstone pendulums, jewelry, essential oils, patches, rune sets, blades, tarot cards, and loads of Alchemy Gothic merch.
“We operate honestly by the Law of Three; if our costs decrease, we pass that value on to our customers.” Which is nice, because this shop carries a huge stock of pagan goods: jewelry and amulets, incense and candles, rune sets, books, herbs and oils, gemstones, tarot, statuary, ritual tools, and more. They also include candle and gemstone information and a spell archive.
This little boutique blends goth witchiness, hippie swirl, and rocker-punk attitude, and they’ve got a nice selection of cargo pants as well as jewelry to match. The Spirital page was put together for maximum inclusivity, based from pagan altar items, and the collaged artwork is all one-of-a-kind. All this and a thrift-store section, too!
Based in Nova Scotia, this shop is run by a mother-daughter team who take casual Fridays to a whole new level. Books, smudging stuff, tarot cards, symbol-printed scarves, cauldrons, runes, athames, incense and candles, stones, herbs and oils, statuary, and jewelry from Dryad, Tanzyr, and Robert Hall.
