A witchy shop that carries everything needed to set up an altar and keep it running: chalices and daggers, tarot decks, goddess statuary, cauldrons, books, runes, Books of Shadows, incense and herbs, jewelry, pagan pins and patches, fantasy artwork, tons of odds and ends and snarky little bumper stickers if you’re so inclined.

Spiritual and household supplies that cover a wide range of paths, from Egyptian to Victorian to Asian, with sections for angels, Buddhas, dragons, fairies, and goddesses. In addition to incense burners and altar items, there’s a fair bit of gothic clothing, lingerie, and even prom gowns, and a pretty tasty little consignment boutique.

This merchant’s East Village shop led to a book on “Romantic Decor on a Flea Market Budget” and is currently being transformed into a design studio, where everything looks straight out of a Golden Age starlet’s boudoir. Pintucked satin headboards, art deco vanities, crystal chandeliers, and romantic artwork, with engraved mirrors and a lot of things made from lucite – brought together, elements made to play with light and reflection. Simply gorgeous. Also stationery, bathing goods, and candles.

A catalog of oddities for the home and office, some merely cute, others quite useful in an offbeat way. Self-extinguishing beeswax candles, invisible bookshelves, windchime alarm clocks, desktop-sized vintage 80’s video games, salt and pepper shakers that hug each other, dial-a-drink cocktail shakers, journals made from floppy disks, collapsible BBQ firebowls, all kinds of weird little gadgets.

Cruelty-free stilettos! Vegan footwear that goes beyond hiking boots and sneakers into creepers, combats, winklepickers, and Victorian lace-ups. Fair-trade bags made from recycled innertubes also lend a touch of funky darkness. Among the rest of the hempiness: bath and body goods, incense, wooden toys, vegan belts, Tibetan jewelry, velvet totes, Celtic throws, and hippiewear.
