An impressive array of tikis in various forms: masks, statues, signs pointing the way to the nearest tropical bar, and a half-joking page of “tikis sold by the foot” for budget-constrained customers to get the biggest bang for the buck. Also bamboo lanterns, Easter Island lawn ornaments, and random kitschy nautical decor bits.

Eco-fashion for men and women. The clothes tend towards wraps and ripples of solid color with the occasional print, stocking everything from slinky cocktail dresses to hoodies and what looks to be delightfully comfy loungewear, as well as rubber handbags and synth-leather shoes. Kids and pets get their own sections of apparel, bedding, and toys, there’s whole divisions of furniture and housewares, and the bath and body stuff includes bright purple body glitter.

A Chicago brick-and-mortar that grew out of the Renegade Craft Fair and currently features over 300 artists. Clothes and accessories, jewelry, artwork, stationery, housewares, bath and body goods, stuffed animals, indie style in full swing through cute animals, vintage yearnings, cupcakes, and filthy-minded crossstitchery. Thanks, Miko!

Decor and adornment replicated from art and artifacts around the world: Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Hindu, Asian, African, Aztec, medieval, and a touch of abstract modern are scattered throughout pages of historically-inspired jewelry and housewares. Loads of statuary from Buddha to Beethoven, the games include mummy bridge decks, the gadgetry runs towards sundials and hourglasses, and Frank Lloyd wright pops up in the earrings. Thanks Neil!

Sculpture that sharpens the motifs of medieval goth into strange jewels and decor pieces, with fantastic digressions into the ocean. Boxes like cathedrals for tiny dragons, stingrays smoothed into silver spikes, candlesticks where the light is steadied by wings and claws, eroded skull faces that look like a handful of biker rings left underwater for half a century, beautifully weird insectile fish. There’s also artwork which continues the darkness but in a much more colorful, pop-art way. No prices but you’re welcome to contact for purchasing info. Thanks, Jannis!

Vintage and vintage-style goodies for those who prefer to celebrate Hallows’ Eve with a retro touch – or update year-round goth decor with spiderweb table runners. Tons and tons of party decorations, including some actual antiques, and pages for jack o’lanterns, Day of the Dead, and fortunetelling. The original art section includes Kerrykate dolls, Haunting Memories glass skull ornaments, handpainted dancing skeleton umbrellas, and Queen of Hearts sweetly morbid wedding plates, and the Cards section is a goldmine of old-world imagery chock full of black cats and flying witches. Absolutely loaded with great finds for the haunt-minded home.

Purveyors of hula-themed barware and “tropical supplies.” Volcano bowls, conch shells, and pineapple bottoms to drink from, and the bamboo bars to serve them from – and the supplies to build your own. Fishing nets, lanterns, and war clubs set the ambiance, and for the final essential touch, they do custom hand-carved (and chainsawed) tikis.
