Jewelry that revels in the cute, the sugary, and the happy, where every other item is smiling. Glitter heart earrings, knitted ice cream cone brooches, personalized tattoo necklaces that also offer carousel horses and gothic Russian nesting dolls, plastic rose rings, and little teapots everywhere. The stationery turns the sweetness mailable and the ‘zines include Let Them Eat Cake, Super Super, and Nude.

A London shop blending the modern with previous eras, pop art prints updated into wrap dresses and floaty tops, a little pinup style. The jewelry is partytime with big flashy cocktail rings, ponytail bobbles, chunky bangles, and some unicorns’n'rainbows here and there, Playful Promises does the lingerie, and the shoes are great for the bow-over-peeptoe look.

An original line of clothing and jewelry is tucked within this site’s utter toybox of a catalog, featuring Corpse Bride, Evangelion, Naruto, Transformers, and always, a Totoro. The wearables are gentle pastel dreams of bunnies and ice cream, matched by handmade candy bracelets and earrings in the jewelry section. Also colorful stationery and happy plush.

Indie casualwear for men and women that plays around with prints and printing for collections named Future Fairy Tales and Future Fantasy, with a general fun 80’s vibe to the whole thing. Silkscreened by hand, the offerings include remixed unicorn and wolf tees, tartan sash dresses, metallic doll skirts, sequinned leggings, hoodies drizzled with eyes, and vintage sections which fit the theme. Jewelry, handbags, sunglasses, and other surprises, which can get happily ridiculous since they consider monster finger puppets as accessories.

This site takes a break from the over-the-top costuming so beloved by various subcultures, and instead tones things down into daywear and cocktail dresses, good for offices and family get-togethers and any other kind of normalish event where you still want to be yourself. The aesthetics are all over the map, but there’s plenty of slinky/floaty/clingy designs for a more relaxed version of opulent dress. Thanks, Dian!
