While the name kindles images of intimate adornment, this site looks like a sci-fi villain’s treasure chest. Necklaces that wrap around the back, menacing pointed chokers, demonic codpieces, “alien lockets,” daggers and axes, bold chunks of gemstone, much of it made with secret compartments and hidden doors. Even glasses can be reworked for a subtle bit of futuristic style. And they do deliver on the erotic front – these are nipple shields ready for battle.

An engagement ring jeweler who also has a flair for darker ornamentation. Tribal and tentacled designs pop up in her Adornments sections, where gemstones are cradled in silver tendrils, and dramatic neckpieces evoke dancing flames. The bridal sparkles play with complementary pieces, most notably in the wedding set where raised and recessed locks are made to fit into each other. Custom extremely welcome and encouraged.

Kanzashi! Intricately folded flowers of hand-dyed silk, plum blossoms and chrysanthemums and even sunflowers perched on clips, combs, headbands, hair prongs, and brooches. Obi belts feature size-adjustable corset lacing and big fat bows and kimono blouses are on the way. The rest of the catalog tips fae/bellydance with filigree wings and ornate headdresses, dichroic glass twinkles and winterberry branches sculpted from wire. Custom welcome.

A catalog full of skulls, brass knuckles, and Brooklyn pride. The tees/longsleevers/hoodies are stark compositions of black and red, remixing antiheros or morbid coats of arms, while crows flap about on yoga pants and tote bags. Rockabilly rosaries not only mix glittering glass beads with shiny little guns, but thoughtfully offer the option of dual lengths and interchangeable pendants in case the day is shaping up to be more machine gun than cross of thorns. And this is the place if you’ve ever wanted to scream HELL YEAH from your fingers.

An online consignment shop run by the owner of Ji Ji Kiki, once again showing off an eye for the cute with a roster of teenytiny indie brands working in jewelry, accessories, home decor, and paper goods. Carousel necklaces, orange slice rings, cat-shaped lavender sachets, comic book envelopes, hair flowers, linen purses, an overall gathering of, to borrow from one of the featured brands, dainty pretty things. Artists and designers are welcome to come sell their stuff.

Twinkling things made of of teacups and fairytales. Much of the jewelry is pictorial – a whole section is devoted to Alice in Wonderland – mixed up with cameos and lockets and sterling charms and bottles of sparkly dust, occasionally detouring into the rainbow arrangements of chakra pieces.

Utterly insane ear jewelry carved from organic materials, and they mean it when they say they have something for everyone. The bone and horn is ethically collected, and their use of coconut shells, gemstones, and exotic woods open up the selection to vegans – and plentiful 1mm gauges mean you don’t have to stretch your lobes to flaunt their incredible selection of floral-tribal-winged-helixed-vertebral designs.
