Illusion Jewels Dr. Who Madame Pompadour earringsA mix of vintage finds and glittery medieval reproductions. Giant 1960’s boho necklaces, bakelite, a section just for Sam Niello Thai-deco goodies, and a page of cufflinks and tie bars for the guys among the usual rhinestone brooches and cocktail rings. The new stuff is devoted to the Renaissance, which besides bracelets and earrings, also includes the period-specific styles of girdle belts and collars of office, and some of it is modeled directly from movies and TV shows.

Enamore retro pinup lingerieRetro fashion conjured up from organic, sustainable, and vintage fabrics. Which means, eco-pasties! Some dresses and skirts that wiggle and swing, but the catalog’s main treasure trove is in the lingerie, camis and nighties and a small avalanche of old-fashioned knickery underwear. Also hair bands, beaded bracelets and necklaces, flower brooches and hair clips, knitted scarves and hats, and bamboo-fabric sleep masks.

The Boudoir Queen

The Boudoir Queen Victorian arm corsetsFlapper fashion cross-pollinated with floppy-hatted L.A. bohemian in soft explosions of lace and tulle, reminiscent of what vintage shopping in the sixties must have been like. Much of it is concocted from found fabrics and elements, and spiced up with period flair: turbans and cloches, harem pantsuits, detachable tattered capelet/bustle combos, bed jackets, “cuff cakes” for the arms and ankles, chandelier necklaces, and a page of 20’s dresses scooped up from various well-dressed eccentrics. Also some bedroom decor and glamorous little dolls.
