Sapphire and Sage bodice jewelry
A medieval addition to an overbust corset: chains of pearls and Czech glass beads anchored by cabochons to cascade fetchingly from one’s cinched bosom. Sapphire and Sage whips these up according to your specifications, and as demonstrated on their Bodice Jewelry page, pretty versatile in the draping configurations. And while the designs shown are inspired mainly from Renaissance portraiture, they look ripe for burlesque ensembles of the high-society sort.

It used to be an essential piece of record-playing equipment – the funky little triskelion used for sizing a single to the turntable, back when whatever tunes you were listening to were accompanied by the soft scratch of the needle in the groove. It’s now a symbol of vinyl pride, perhaps not as obsolete as they seemed when CD’s first hit the scene. PNUT Jewelry goes a step further, turning them into sterling silver bits of men’s fashion, ready to slip a little personality into a dress shirt.

Liquid Fire Mantra elven ears

The Oddity of the Week has returned to the Chateau! We’ve done our best to recover as many archived writeups and photos as possible – click here to travel down the memory lane of glass handbags, straitjacket tube tops, fetish oven mitts, coffin nail tiaras, and Wonderous Vulva Puppets – and stay tuned for new ones because we have a LOT of them lined up!

The jewelers at Liquid Fire Mantra have done something rather interesting with hanging carved plugs – flipped them up on top of the ear for a distinctly fantastical look. Made attachable by flexible copper swirls, the “Fae Auris” design is part hairclip, part pressure-point stimulator, and an unusual bit of matchy-match to similar handiwork in one’s earlobes.
