A Des Moines art gallery specializing in the dark and morbid. Besides signed prints, they also showcase other horrific wares: monster masks, horror movie tees and toys, scream-filled pop art pendants, body jewelry that leans towards the demonic, evil dolls, and if you’re in the area, the in-person items include such delights as a “vintage case full of dead stuff.” 
A large, diverse catalog of body finery: amber flower plugs, silver lotus eyelets, all kinds of silver hoops and fringy shoulder-dusters, septum mustaches, striped glass spirals, hanging shapes sprouting wings and fins and intricate curlicues, ear weights taking on the forms of little animals, plus a selection of antique and repro tribal jewelry.
Exquisite body jewelry crafted from natural elements. The plugs are bits of miniature art: wood carved into tiny mandalas, amber circling itsy-bitsy hummingbirds, the spirals of ammonites curling up inside silver windows. Filigree crawls over the hoops and swirls of earrings, opals are set to flash beneath the lips, fossils are shaped into ear weights, just lovely. The filigree also pops up on intricate hairpins. While the name kindles images of intimate adornment, this site looks like a sci-fi villain’s treasure chest. Necklaces that wrap around the back, menacing pointed chokers, demonic codpieces, “alien lockets,” daggers and axes, bold chunks of gemstone, much of it made with secret compartments and hidden doors. Even glasses can be reworked for a subtle bit of futuristic style. And they do deliver on the erotic front – these are nipple shields ready for battle.
Body jewelry of the crystal charm-dangling kind, but also a go-to source for blinking bellybuttons and chaos nips.
