Fantasy costumes that push way past Halloween-in-a-bag getups into the realms of maximum frill. Trans and plus-size friendly, the designs are an explosion of lolita/french maid/cosplay ruffles – this is a great place for packing on some serious petticoat volume – with some more grownup occupational attire in PVC flight attendant dresses, boss-lady puff-sleeve blouses, military caps, and satin nurse masks. The lingerie is just as frothy, and accessories include tulle hair flowers, heels, wigs, and little lacy bags to match the outfits.

A very, very thorough catalog that makes sure to offer every possible permutation of tutu in existence, and then some. Rainbow spectrums, hologram and metallic glitter fabrics, striped panels, and further customizable with more layers, gathering or pleating, color contrast, hidden pockets, sequins, and pixie points. The bustled styles make for some flashy burlesque stage tails, mini-tutu wrist cuffs can be made to match, and the “fairy eco” page upcycles all the leftover odds and ends into raggedy little grab-bag skirts.

A gigantic catalog of handmade historical clothing and beyond for men and women, from Marie Antoinette ensembles to anime costumes. Full of gowns browsable by era, kids’ outfits, and things for pirates and brides, as well as harder-to-find key dressup bits: Elizabethan partlets, maternity bodices, a page of “underskirt devices,” elaborate neck ruffs, bodice jewels, wedding circlets, all the period-appropriate hats, velvet jester hose that offer the option of coordinating codpieces if that’s the kind of guy you are. Custom is extremely welcome.

Medieval dress that goes for the imperious and swirling, whether in black silk velvet cloaks or more sober Jedi robes. The gowns flaunt all kinds of long trailing sleeves and the men’s shirt section is a goldmine of pirate frill. Tunics, chemises, surcoats, Irish bodice dresses, ring and chain belts, hairsticks, buncovers, snoods, costume hats, and custom is very welcome.

Romulan garb, straight from the costume designers of 2009’s Star Trek, “custom made just as if they were for the lead actors in the film” and quite blendable with cyber/playa warrior wardobes. High-collared vests and jackets trimmed with angled piping, ruched wrap tops and loose-fitting pants continuing the dark spacey mood, and some sinister tabi to finish it off. Thanks, Debauched Sage!

The frills and froof of sweet lolita, broken up with sailor outfits and ear-topped hoodies. Pastel shoes garnished with roses and bows, handbags that consider piano keys on par with crowns, hair accessories, lots of pink and white on this site. The clothing is all made custom, and cosplay commissions are welcome.
