Fantasy costumes that push way past Halloween-in-a-bag getups into the realms of maximum frill. Trans and plus-size friendly, the designs are an explosion of lolita/french maid/cosplay ruffles – this is a great place for packing on some serious petticoat volume – with some more grownup occupational attire in PVC flight attendant dresses, boss-lady puff-sleeve blouses, military caps, and satin nurse masks. The lingerie is just as frothy, and accessories include tulle hair flowers, heels, wigs, and little lacy bags to match the outfits.

This Australian shop has specialized in plus-sized lingerie for over 30 years, and it is bustier heaven. Tons of styles from busked longline sweethearts boned for tightlacing to satin’n'lace gloriously tawdry 80’s bedroom confections, generally running from size 8 up through 26. Catsuits, shelf bras, tight little minidresses, thongs and french knickers, thigh-high stockings, a page of PVC, lots of sexy little things and they’re also crossdresser/trans friendly.

Cute little 50’s dresses given the psychotic embellishments of sailboats, innocent
animals, and deceased rap stars handpainted onto the skirts: a leopard wrap dress from which David Bowie glowers in his Labyrinth hair, Tupac contemplative from within a white leopard capsleever, a purple sheath livened up with the visage of Prince. Suitcases also bear this distinctive handiwork, so do canvases. Custom welcome.

Gowns, gowns, gowns: cocktail, prom, evening, strapless, backless, haltered, diamante-detailed, mermaidy, salsa-skirted, all the classic designs and some of them are available made to measure. The wedding section has fancy dress for the entire bridal party, the handbags lean toward glitzy kissclasp clutches, and the jewelry is a rhinestone goldmine.

A sweetheart-heavy catalog of cinchy minimalism, eschewing mounds of froof for versatile basics in satin, leather suede, and PVC, particularly good for strapped bustier-style designs. The bridal page very considerately takes bridesmaids into account and offers some shapely alternative to the traditional gowns of horror.

All kinds of footwear, dressy and casual, sized from women’s 10 up through 16. T-straps, slingbacks, ballerina flats, maryjanes, sandals, kitten heels, this is a site that’s geared more toward sensible career ensembles and classic cocktail glamour – much of it made with lower heels, and an emphasis on comfort – although there is a tiny bit of fetish in the boot section.

Shoes, shoes, shoes, from zebra-striped thigh-highs to office-friendly court pumps. Poofy Moonboots, rose-covered Wellingtons, scrunched ankle boots, pointy-toed slingbacks, lucite-heeled platform mules, bow-toed slides, glittery sandals, New Rocks, and enough black stilettoed cruelty to outfit a fetish club. There’s some hard-to-find sizing both large and small, men’s dress shoes and Beatle boots, and some hosiery.
