A vote-on-the-best-graphic catalog where the usual call for t-shirt submissions gets the rare treatment of shoe design. It’s mostly skate-style canvas slip-ons and a couple of thick-soled low-tops for now – disappointingly, the high-tops section is empty at the time of this review – but good for tastes that run towards the spacey and scientific, splashed with a little pop art. And if you *must* submit a tee image, they do those, too.

A t-shirt catalog that appears at first glance to be crowdsourced, with two shirts pitted against each other for design supremacy, but clicking through reveals all items are purchasable, not just the winners. Which doesn’t really matter, if you’re a fan of artsy full-frontal nouveau-cartoon-street art printed up in men’s and women’s fits.

The retail arm of a creative community for art/design/video.music/writing-minded people. Most of the site is devoted to social networking through bands and coffee shops and art galleries and such, but they do have some tees, tanks, longsleever, and polo dresses decorated with art of the street-pop variety: grenade brains, bright sprouts of dandelions, a lone lightning bolt striking from a crowd of clouds, a great place to pick up a hoodie that frames the cleavage in monkey wrenches.

Tees chopped up and stitched back together into hoodie tops, off-the-shoulders, halters, minidresses, and strapless sweethearts backed with corset lacing, often panelled with pops of plaid and zebra. Shopping by band reveals a promiscuous array that’s very heavy on the metal, spiced here and there with punk and classic rock, and if you don’t see what you’re looking for, you’re invited to send in a shirt of your own.

A snarky tee catalog filled with pop culture remixes, retro-seventies lowbrow pride, and geekery of the “don’t phase me, bro” variety. There’s the usual Hoff-hassling and More Cowbell and Pedro-voting stuff, but flavored strongly with undead goodness and Star Wars ridiculum. And! They have zombie outbreak barricade tape.

Fashion to fight in! A catalog of darkwear that turns out cute’n'evil cotton suitable for rollerderby and other lively pursuits that might involve a bloody nose. The dresses take their shapes from cheerleader and army uniforms, the skirts are emblazoned with polarized skulls, and if you’ve ever felt the burning need to sport handguns across the ‘tocks, this is your store. Knuckle rings, lightning bolts, and medical crosses make up the jewelry section, the armwarmers smother everything from elbow to wrist in brass knuckles, and they stock the footwear trifecta of Demonia, Pleaser, and Bordello.

A rockabilly-pinup-greaser-retro webstore that stocks a lot of smaller brands alongside the better-known works of Switchblade Stiletto, Stop Staring, and Lux DeVille: Cupcake Provacateur’s aprons and poodle potholders, Heartbreaker Fashion’s halter dresses, surreal hot-rod tees from Gasoline Gallery and King Kerosin, flower barrettes from Zombetty Bows, Hawleywood’s hair pomade, lava mugs from Tiki Farm, jewelry from El Dorado club, a good range that covers everything from chic glittery bags to Frankenstein socks. Thanks, Dolly!
