Sarah Juniper 18th century brocade heelsA cobbler specializing in reproductions of Roman, Tudor, Civil War, and a little contemporary footwear, “no cemented soles, no nails, no short cuts made to look like they were made by hand, just the real thing.” 18th century riding boots, mid-1700’s brocade slippers with timber heels, jester curled toes, sandals copied from German excavations. Statement pendants of the ren-faire variety, rings of twisted silver, handflowers and headdresses, and the unusual inclusion of chain belts, which are like big glittery necklaces for the waist. The clothing updates historical dress with a little goth detailing – good stuff for men here – along with wedding gowns and a little mystical leather.
