A “design community” where customers submit sketches, vote on which ones get manufactured, and buy them when they come into existence. And it’s not just t-shirts: they do mermaid gowns, 50’s swing dresses, bustle skirts, trenchcoats, corset-laced jeans, flared 70’s jumpsuits, lots of body-hugging stuff with liberal splashes of retro and Victorian goth. A lot of it comes in plus sizes, too – and if it doesn’t, speaking up is welcome.

Vintage that specializes in high-end, drop-dead glamour, from the Victorian/Edwardian era up through the present day. Flapper shawls, clingy starlet gowns, New Look party dresses, glitzy coats, Pucci maxis, with a reworked section that harmonizes these disparate periods together into sweet new creations. The accessories page is full of unusual detours from all-retro styling, preferring a bold, modern look that veers between delicate and rugged: obi belts, body harnesses, rings flaunting chunks of sparkling rock, modern neck ruffs, and chain/fringe necklaces that are as stunning as they are gigantic.

This catalog touts itself as “the positive place for girls” while offering loads of short, tight, ‘n shiny – and some everyday basics, too. Floral batwing one-shoulder minidresses, sweater tunics and ruffled cardigans, leggings with all kinds of crazy prints/patterns/laces all over them, teeny little miniskirts, bikinis and one-pieces, and the beautifying extends into clip-in locks of hair, wigs, and Nyx cosmetics. Candy-striped spike heels and faux-suede scrunch booties can be found in the shoe section, and the accessories include fedoras, tiaras, cinch belts, fringy knit scarves, and gigantic bags for slogging around glamorously during the day.

Slick retro sunglasses sprung forth from kustom kulture. Decorated with pinstriping, spiderwebs, or left good old shiny black, the frames come in mostly squared-off styles, with a few round designs that look especially beach-party glam in leopard print. Lots of good accompaniments to vintage-style bathing suits and suave defense against summer’s great big ball of evil in the sky.

The clothes tend towards wraps and ripples of solid color with the occasional print, stocking everything from slinky cocktail dresses to hoodies and what looks to be delightfully comfy loungewear, as well as rubber handbags and synth-leather shoes. Kids and pets get their own sections of apparel, bedding, and toys, there’s whole divisions of furniture and housewares, and the bath and body stuff includes bright purple body glitter.

A UK boutique specializing in Japanese playthings and wearables, who have brought a smattering of their bricks-and-mortar stock online. The catalog is a little bit of this and that: tin robots, skull cardigans, graffiti tees from Terratag, kissclasp purses appliqued with cuteness, Russian doll socks, Mr. Messy coffee mugs, tartan tights, greeting cards styled after retro advertisements, Kreepsville 666 coffin mirrors, bear-eared snoods that unfurl into pocketed scarves, and of course Paul Frank and Hello Kitty.
