A “design community” where customers submit sketches, vote on which ones get manufactured, and buy them when they come into existence. And it’s not just t-shirts: they do mermaid gowns, 50’s swing dresses, bustle skirts, trenchcoats, corset-laced jeans, flared 70’s jumpsuits, lots of body-hugging stuff with liberal splashes of retro and Victorian goth. A lot of it comes in plus sizes, too – and if it doesn’t, speaking up is welcome.

Original tees loaded with pirates-guns-skulls-beer-good times sentiments, where rockabilly’s iconography gets smashed over punk grime with a few tattooed knuckles lurking at the edges. Hoodies, babydolls, tanks, tote bags, pins and patches are all emblazoned with various madnesses, with hats and belt buckles proudly flaunting the one-finger salute.
A banquet of retro lingerie, loaded with girdles and garters and bullet bras from Pour Moi, Stockings and Romance, Vollers, What Katie Did, Gossard, Rosy, Kiss Me Deadly, and Playful Promises. The hosiery sports wide lace tops and Cuban heels, the cocktail sparklies are provided by Rukhsana, and there are crystal bra straps if this all just isn’t enough oomph.
Slick retro sunglasses sprung forth from kustom kulture. Decorated with pinstriping, spiderwebs, or left good old shiny black, the frames come in mostly squared-off styles, with a few round designs that look especially beach-party glam in leopard print. Lots of good accompaniments to vintage-style bathing suits and suave defense against summer’s great big ball of evil in the sky.
Handmade lingerie that throws 80’s/emo prints onto pinup staples. Rufflebutt panties, lacy garters, triangle bras, and waist cinchers in leopard print, diamonds, hearts, skulls, and mesh solids, liberally trimmed with bows and lace and retrofemme frill. The hair clips are full of cupcakes and ice cream cones, and there’s a special section for veg-themed skivvies.
Fashions from the ubiquitous pinup model, gathered from some of the brands she’s modeled for. Very good for the juvenile-delinquent side of retro, with high-waisted capris and collared tops alongside the vampy pencil skirts and farmer’s-daughter gingham tie tops. Corsets from Naughty Design present burlesque brocades and buckled PVC, the lingerie from Lucy B is straight out of fifties fetish reels, and her tight, wiggly collaborations with Versatelier are covered in fringe.
Rockabilly fashion influenced by Tokyo street style, resulting in swing dresses made from the designer’s original syringe print, gingham dresses with heavily ruched skirts, sailor dresses with exaggerated appliques, big fat bows to wear around your neck or in your hair, and nautical scarves. Also frilly little kids’ dresses, which you’re welcome to customize by sending in your child’s drawings.
